Lights illuminate a tunnel at the Gage Park Zoo. Our historic park in Topeka, Kansas is becoming a rehabilitation habitat for animals. This display of lights is a fund-raiser for the Zoo. While I'm not in favor of caging animals for display, I understand the importance of preserving endangered species & rehabilitating injured or displaced animals.
My Nikon camera(s) & an iPhone follow me everywhere. I shoot or paint daily, trying to capture at least a moment within my life - day or night. I like working with wildlife, water reflections, light & color the best - enjoying the art of processing immensely. I love abstract art. I use the camera, oil, water & acrylic paints - to capture the foundation of the piece. Education & Experience: I graduated from Washburn University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative & Performing Arts with emphasis in English Literature & Dance.
