Our historic Gage Park Zoo in Topeka, Kansas is illuminated with lights for a fund-raiser. Our park is fast becoming a rehabilitation "zoo" for endangered species, as well as a healing center for injured or displaced animals. It was a perfectly gloomy night with light drizzle making for shimmering reflections & opportunities to capture the glow of the evening. And the Peppermint Schnapps with hot chocolate was perfect!
My Nikon camera(s) & an iPhone follow me everywhere. I shoot or paint daily, trying to capture at least a moment within my life - day or night. I like working with wildlife, water reflections, light & color the best - enjoying the art of processing immensely. I love abstract art.
